🤔 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What should I bring?
💧 Some prefer to bring drinking water (we’re on a well)
🧈 Oil/butter for cooking on stainless steel
🔥 Firewood for the firepit (or purchase ours and have it delivered to your doorstep)
🥾 Closed-toe shoes (sneakers/boots) for Chores N’ Tour, where you’ll feed all the farm animals.
🥕 Baby carrots & string beans for the goats and a bag of red apples for the bull. Cabbage leaves, grapes, and blueberries for the chickens and Peacock. Feed them anytime!

2. What animals can I see from the barn house?
Watch our silly jumping goats and miniature horse from your door! See the sheep, alpaca, and turkeys up close as they fully surround your backyard. Bring your grapes and cabbage heads and feed the chickens and Peacock anytime! Herbie, our Scottish Highland bull, grazes in the distance and loves you to bring red apples to toss to him over the fence.

3. How many guests can stay?
The barn house sleeps 4 guests total, including babies and children. A 5th and 6th guest may be added for $25 per additional person. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests due to fire code.

4. Can friends or family visit?
No. Only registered guests may enter the property. The ranch has a coded entrance gate and is not open to the public. You may see other registered guests, but not people walking in off the street.

5. Can I use Uber, Lyft, or food delivery?
Yes! Uber/Lyft can take you to Ocean City, MD, and beyond. DoorDash and pizza delivery are also welcome. All drivers must meet you at the entrance gate—not the cottage.

6. Early check-in or late checkout?
No. With multiple rentals, we must keep cleaning on schedule for the next guests. Check-in and check-out times cannot be adjusted. Thanks for understanding!

7. Can I bring pets or service animals?
No. We are ADA service-animal exempt due to safety concerns involving animals on display that are natural prey or predators of animals, including dogs. Pets are also not permitted.

8. Smoking/vaping?
🚭 We have a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy inside all rentals at all times.

9. How secure is the ranch?
The property has 6 outdoor security cameras operating at all times to help protect guests and animals. There is on-site management available during your stay.

10. What other rentals are at the ranch?
The property includes a tiny house, a cottage, 2 bell-tent yurts, mini-cabins, and an entire Old West-themed glampground. Friends and family can book other units for a fun group experience! Click our name/logo to see all our listings.

11. How is the Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is primarily intended for the smart TVs. If you plan to work remotely, we recommend bringing a hotspot.

12. What are the checkout procedures?
We have a 5-step checkout process and ask guests to leave the Pink Pony Cottage neat and tidy, the way they found it. We love bragging about guests who leave our home well cared for! Checkout instructions are posted on the refrigerator.

13. Are there additional fees?
There is a cleaning fee plus a 3% credit card processing fee, which is included in “rent” during the booking process.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
