The Pink Pony Cottage gives you the best of both worlds. One minute you're watching goats bounce around the farm. Next, you're headed to the beach at this quirky cottage decked out in pink! This cottage makes it easy with complimentary beach chairs and beach mats ready to go! After a day in the sun, come back to the farm's peacefulness. Rinse off the sand, relax on the porch, and enjoy watching the animals as the day winds down.

🤔 FAQ's

1. What should I bring on my trip? Shelley suggests bringing drinking water (we're on a well,) oil/ butter for cooking on stainless steel, and campfire wood if using the firepit (or you can buy ours and have it delivered to your doorstep). The "Chores N' Tour experience (feeding all the farm animals) requires closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or boots.

2. Can I walk around the ranch, unattended? Keep in mind we are a small ranch, and while 1/2 of our property is open, the other 1/2 is livestock pastures. You can walk to the glampground, play a round of corn hole, or check out the horseshoe pit area. The animal rescue part of the farm is off-limits for safety without Shelley accompanying you. Sign up for Chores N' Tour if you'd like "backstage access" into the animal rescue part of the farm to feed and learn about all 20 animals alongside Shelley.

3. What animals are nearby the cottage? You can enjoy our silly jumping goats from your screened-in porch and see Herbie the Scottish Highland bull graze in the distance. Don't forget to bring the baby carrots and string beans and feed the goats anytime you like. Herbie the bull loves red apples thrown over the fence to him.

4. This home sleeps four (4) guests *including* babies & children. Have more than four (4)? Add a fifth (5th) for $25.00 per additional person for your stay. We do not accommodate more than 5 guests max at the cottage.

7. Can friends and family visit me while I'm at the ranch? No. The only people permitted to enter the property are registered guests. The public cannot access the property, and we have a coded entrance gate. As a guest, you can expect to see other guests here, not people walking in off the street.

8. Can I catch a UBER or LYFT? Yes! You can easily catch a ride to Ocean City, Maryland, or beyond. You must be picked up at the entrance gate, not at the cottage. How about food delivery? Yes! Order Doordash or pizza delivery. Just plan to meet your driver at the entrance gate, not the barndominium.

9. Is there an option for early check-ins and late check-outs? No. Because this property has multiple rentals, we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. All cleans are performed on time, keeping us on schedule for the next guest. Thanks for your understanding.

10. Can I bring my pet or service animals? No. We are ADA service animal exempt due to safety issues with animals on display that are natural prey/ natural predators of animals, including dogs. We also do not allow pets.

11. What is the smoking/ vaping policy? We operate a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy at all times inside all of our rentals.

12. How secure is the ranch? The property has six outdoor security cameras running and in use at all times. These outdoor security cameras help protect humans and animals alike. There's a coded entrance gate upon your arrival to the ranch and there is on-site management that is available during your stay. You cannot enter the property without your temporary code, and we ask that you do not give it out while you're here.

13. What other rentals are at the ranch? Scattered through the property is a tiny house, two bell tent yurts, mini-cabins, and an entire Old West-themed glampground. YES! You can have friends and family rent other units and make this a group experience. You can also see all of our listings if you click our name (logo.)

14. How is the WIFI? Our WIFI is mainly used for the smart TVs. It's best to bring a hotspot if you want to work remotely.

15. What are the checkout procedures? We have a 5-step checkout process and ask that our guests leave the Pink Pony Cottage the way they found it, (neat and tidy.) We love to brag about super clean guests who leave our home well cared for. You will see our checkout procedures on the refrigerator.

16. There is a $130.00 cleaning fee, and a 3% credit card processing fee that is rolled into "rent" during the booking process.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
